Level 2 Award in First Aid at Work Annual Refresher (QAR)

The HSE recommend that qualified first aiders attend an annual refresher course. This does not however form part of a QCF unit or qualification.

Aim of Qualification

The aim of the qualification is to enable learners to refresh the knowledge and competencies needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations.

Course Content

• Emergency Procedure
• Unconscious casualty
• Recovery Position
• Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Bleeding
• Shock

Assessment Method

Practical Assessment completed throughout the course

3 hours

A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded on completion of the course.
